Information technology and technology in general can be fun, exciting, baffling, confusing and sometimes downright frustrating.

For non-technical people working with IT professionals, there is an array of terminology, concepts, and topics that might as well be a foreign language. And IT professionals by and large aren't known for their ability to explain things in plain English.

About the Course

This course steps the learner through the basic concepts of information technology, providing terms and definitions, concepts, and topics in plain English.

We cover the history and usage of technology and provide foundational topics in a fun and entertaining way, while teaching the proper perspective of information technology as a tool for getting things done.

Learners will emerge from the training with an appreciation for the benefits and challenges of implementing and managing technology, and a better understand of IT professionals and the work they perform on a daily basis.
